The 8pm Ritual Guide & The Glow Nights Calendar

Two things come with the ritual: a one-page guide for the nightstand, and a calendar for the glow nights. Both are printed here in full — nothing is held back until after you’ve paid.

Included with the ritual, at no charge — and you can read the whole thing before you buy anything.

Both are one page each, made to print at home and sit by the sink. They also arrive by email with your order.

Part one — The 8pm Ritual Guide

What goes on, in what order, on which nights — and the two cautions that matter.

1The order, and why it’s printed on the bottles.

Step 1
The Calm Toner

Morning and evening, on clean skin.

Step 2
The Eye Smoothing Serum

Pat gently around the eye area, after Step 1.

Step 3
The Glow Nights Toner

Two or three evenings a week, in place of Step 1 that night — never on top of it.

That’s the whole routine. There is nothing else to research and nothing to get wrong.

2The 48-hour rule (the one most people get wrong).

The glow toner is a gentle glycolic, and it never goes on within 48 hours of facial trimming — before or after.

You trim on Sunday morning. Your next glow night is Tuesday evening at the earliest. If you trim on a Friday, move that week’s glow nights to Sunday and Wednesday.

3Patch test, before the first night.

The eye serum contains natural fragrance allergens. Inner arm, a small amount, 24 hours — then use it around the eyes.

Do this once, before night one — not after something stings.

4Sunscreen, every morning you’re on the glow toner.

Glycolic makes daylight matter more. Not optional, and not an upsell — we don’t sell sunscreen.

5The thirty-night expectation calendar.

Honest about the ritual and the judging, never about promised results.

Nights 1–7. Nothing has changed, and that is exactly what we told you would happen: “Nothing changes the first morning; skin doesn’t work that way and we won’t pretend it does.” Your only job this week is the order.

Nights 8–29. Keep going. The ritual is the product.

Night 30 — the fair night to judge it. Same mirror, same light, same time of day as night one.

Night thirty is when you judge it. Night ninety is the last night you may act on it. That gap is deliberate — the old thirty-night version expired on the exact night we told you to start looking.

Count from the day it arrived.

Count your ninety from the day the parcel arrived, not from the first night you used it — if it sat on the dresser for a week, that week is still yours and it still counts against the ninety. Your delivery date is on your tracking email.

6If it stings.

Stop the glow toner. Keep Steps 1 and 2. Come back to Step 3 at one night a week and build from there.

The line was formulated to be gentle — no fragrance-heavy bases, no harsh scrubs — but skin is a personal fact, and yours outranks our page.

7When you’d expect to run low.

The glow toner goes on two or three nights a week, so it will outlast the other two. We’ll write to you once, before you’d expect to run low.

8One email.

hello@uselumee.com — a real person, within 24 hours.

Full ingredient lists are printed on every bottle and on each product’s page.

Part two — The Glow Nights Calendar

The two or three evenings a week the glow toner goes on, laid out for your first month — with the 48-hour spacing after facial trimming already built in, so you never have to work it out.

Included, at no charge. We don’t sell it separately, and we’re not going to pretend we could.

1Pick your nights, once.

Two evenings a week to start. The sheet comes pre-marked Tuesday and Saturday — move them to whichever two evenings are actually yours. A third night only in week three, and only if weeks one and two were comfortable.

2Mark your trim days first, then place the glow nights.

Write in the mornings you trim. Then put your glow nights at least two full days away from them, on either side.

trim Sunday → glow Tuesday + Saturday
trim Friday → glow Sunday + Wednesday

That is the whole point of the sheet: the 48-hour rule becomes something you never have to calculate again.

3What’s on the sheet.

  • Four weeks, seven columns. Every day carries a glow-night box, a trim box, and a small sunscreen tick for the following morning.
  • Weeks one and two come pre-marked at two nights.
  • Weeks three and four carry a third slot outlined in grey — only if the first two weeks were comfortable.
  • Night thirty is circled: the fair night to judge it, same mirror, same light, same time of day as night one.

4The two things that override the sheet.

Printed at the foot of the grid, so they are under your eyes every time:

  • If it stings, drop to one night a week and keep Steps 1 and 2.
  • On a glow night the toner goes in place of Step 1, not on top of it.

5Night ninety starts at your doormat.

The sheet has a fill-in box: the day my parcel arrived. Your ninety nights run from that date, not from your first night — count from there.

It is deliberately undated. We can’t know your delivery day or your trim days, and a pre-dated calendar would be wrong for most people who order. You date it; it is right for you.
