How does the gua sha work?

The stone glides across the face in deliberate passes — jaw to ear, cheekbone to temple, brow up to hairline. The weight provides pressure, the cool constricts vessels, and the angle moves the fluid that pooled overnight in the direction the body naturally drains. The result is the look most expensive creams advertise but can’t deliver: a face that reads rested, even on days you weren’t.

How long does it take to see results?

Most reviewers describe a visible difference by the first morning’s use — the under-eye reads differently by the time the practice is done. The consistent inflection — where partners and coworkers start commenting on the change — arrives at about two weeks of daily practice.

Do I need to refrigerate or freeze it?

No. Real rose quartz is naturally cool at room temperature, and holds the temperature through the five-minute pass. The freezer is optional — ten minutes in if you like the cold-shock version.

What if I have sensitive skin or a skin condition?

The practice is gentle. If you have a specific skin condition, recent procedure, or active inflammation, check with your dermatologist before introducing any new tool into your routine.

Is it really solid rose quartz?

Yes. Real stone, weighted to the hand. The first thing you notice when you pick it up is the weight — resin and dyed-plastic imitations don’t carry it.

How do I clean it?

Wipe with a soft cloth after use. Warm water and gentle soap if needed. Never the dishwasher.

How long will the set last?

Built for daily use. If your set arrives broken or breaks in normal use, write to hello@uselumee.com and we replace it on our dime.
